The Rockville RPM109 is a versatile 12-channel wood cabinet powered mixer with USB/SD input and an LCD display. This mixer is one of the best-sounding powered mixers on the market, competing with the most premium brands in terms of sound quality and power.
After personally testing the RPM series of powered mixers, I was completely blown away. Even with the volume turned up only halfway, the sound was insanely loud when I ran the mixer through two Yamaha speakers. And when I cranked the volume to 90%, the clarity was unbelievable.
The power amp built into this mixer is rated at 450 watts x 2 RMS at 8 ohms and 600 watts x 2 RMS at 4 ohms. Rockville rates the RMS output very strictly, just like the famous brands such as Mackie. In addition to the RMS ratings, they also provide program and peak power ratings, but the RMS figure is the true continuous output power to consider.
This powered mixer is built to withstand a beating, with its rugged, high-quality wooden enclosure. Its 12 channels make it versatile enough for most parties and gigs. Each channel has an adjustable 3-band EQ (high, mid, low), and there's a dual 7-band master EQ as well.
